I received the following email from Tali, our partnership director in Eshkol:
“It is with great sadness that we announce the murder of Gadi Haggai, Judih's husband.
Gadi was murdered by terrorists on the morning of Saturday, October 7, during a morning walk in the fields of Kibbutz Nir-Oz.
Unfortunately, we have no information about Judih who is being held captive by Hamas since that Saturday. Judih is a committed partner in the partnership program 'living bridge' and has accompanied many teens delegations to visit NENY Federation and host the groups from the federation in Eshkol. We are praying for her return home!!!”
We pray for the safe return of our dear friend Judih and all remaining hostages, the surrender of Hamas, and a lasting peace in the region. May Gadi’s memory be for a blessing.
